Healthy Food Survey
All Gunston students and faculty read Michael Pollan’s Omnivore's Dilemma during the summer of 2013. That inspired the Environmental Club to focus on our cafeteria food this year and choose local food as a theme for Earth Day 2015. The club began by working with their mentor and creating a survey for the community. The results of this survey will be used to shape menus and increase local foods next year.

Green and White Day
Twice a year, Gunston faculty cancel classes and have a surprise spirit field day. Students are divided into two teams, Green and White, and lead by student captains to compete in a number of field games, mental and physical challenges, and spend the day outdoors. Students look forward for this day as one of the last nice day in fall and the first warm day in the spring.
